| BELBIN TEAM BUILDING |
 |
Successful team working is fundamental to meeting organisational goals and objectives. Being part of a team that works well together can be both a rewarding and motivating experience but what determines a high performing team from one that doesn't deliver?
Belbin Team Role theory was developed by Dr. Meredith Belbin through research carried out with the Henley Management College and he identified 9 team role profiles that make up a high performing team. Now his team role theory is used by many organisations Worldwide to enhance team performance. GMS Management Solutions are Belbin Team-Role Accredited to work with individuals and organisations to understand their Belbin profiles.
Belbin Team Role Reports Team members each take a short, on-line Belbin Team Role questionnaire and also nominate between 4 and 6 observers to give feedback on how they perceive someone's team role contribution. This gives an accurate assessment of an individuals team role profile. Once the on-line questionnaire is complete, an in depth report is produced showing their preferred team role and how they can make the greatest contribution in a team environment.
Belbin Team Role Workshop All successful organisations embody good team working and this workshop is aimed at helping people work more effectively in a team environment. The workshop explains the 9 Belbin Team roles and how they are can be used to improve team performance. Belbin Team Role reports are analysed and the individual results and team profiles discussed amongst the group. This is always a beneficial and enjoyable exercise. The workshop also includes a number of team building exercises plus a film illustrating the Belbin Team Roles in action. For organisations where teamwork is key to success, this workshop will prove to be invaluable.
